About this site
This site was produced and assembled by Aaron Greenwald to help document and support Alicia Hall Moran and Jason Moran’s Two Wings project. Two Wings, a dynamic and ground-breaking concert-length meditation on the Great Migration, was commissioned by Carnegie Hall and toured in Spring 2019 to Carnegie, the Kennedy Center, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and Symphony Center at Orchestra Hall Chicago. The films on the site were produced in collaboration between Greenwald and Francesco Saviano at Unarmed Media. A grant to Jason Moran from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation supported the building of the site and the production of the associated films.
